Kate Scott started working at the Olson Center in 2008. She received her Master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University.
Kate is married to a retired Navy pilot and has three children, two dogs, and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, quilting, running and reading.
Jenny Sharrick is the Director of Public Health Services at FAMILY, Inc. She oversees the Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health, and 1st Five Healthy Mental Development programs for eight counties in Western Iowa. She has been involved in reproductive health and justice work, and anti-hunger & poverty work for over 15 years. In her spare time she enjoys baking, dancing, going to the zoo with her husband and son, looking for awesome fanny packs, and cuddling her squished-face puppies, Mr. Pickles and Lady Zucchini.
Originally from North Dakota, Devin attended the University of North Dakota where he majored in Accounting. He passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam and started his career as an external auditor with Deloitte and Touche in Minneapolis, MN.
After three years, he moved to Omaha and continued his career with Conagra Brands where he passed the Certified Fraud Examiner exam and currently is a Director of Internal Audit. Devin also earned his graduate degree (MBA) from Midland University. Devin has significant experience with internal controls, risk management, financial reporting, and project management.
Devin and his wife, Jennifer, reside outside of Ashland, NE. They have two children, Christian and Noah.
Angie Cantrell is a wife and mother of 4 who grew up in the Omaha metro area. She serves as the Director of Community Engagement at MilkWorks, a nonprofit community breastfeeding center.
She has a passion for supporting families through pregnancy and the postpartum period. Making healthcare and related supports equitably accessible is one of her top priorities.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside and working on craft projects.
Kara Foster, MPH, is a champion for mothers and babies. She began her public health career working with refugees who had resettled in Nebraska and has since filled roles in state and international organizations.
Kara currently serves as the Education and Training Manager for CityMatCH, a national membership organization of city and county health departments’ Maternal and Child Health programs and leaders representing urban communities in the United States. CityMatCH’s mission is to strengthen public health leaders and organizations to promote equity and improve the health of urban women, families, and communities.
She has always been passionate about pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, but became even more so after becoming a mother herself. In her “free” time, Kara loves to explore the outdoors with her husband and two young sons.
Dr. Megan Falke is not just a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Professor at Creighton University; she is a dedicated advocate for reproductive and social justice, a passionate community leader, and a loving mother of three beautiful children.
With a career marked by tireless commitment to the well-being of mothers and babies, Dr. Falke stands at the forefront of healthcare, education, and social justice. Dr. Falke's advocacy is deeply personal, rooted in her own experiences as a mother of three and birth worker. Her understanding of the joys and challenges of motherhood fuels her dedication to ensuring that every mother and child receives the care and support they deserve.
Her advocacy work is not just a profession but a calling—one that reflects her unwavering belief in the power of compassion and community.
Julie Madden is the Asset Liability Manager at First National Bank of Omaha. Holding an MBA from Midland University, she has over a decade of banking experience with a specialization in financial modeling, risk management, and process improvement.
