Fajr Peters is a certified full-spectrum doula, perinatal nutrition expert, and traditional postpartum care practitioner who brings warm, culturally rooted care to every family she serves. A mother of six, her passion for birth work began with her own transformative pregnancies and births. Each experience deepened her commitment to supporting mothers through both the beauty and challenges of this sacred season.
Fajr holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Black Studies and is a proud graduate of her university’s Honors Program, a foundation that informs her commitment to culturally affirming care. She is certified through SMC Full Circle Birth Companion Training Program and the National Black Doula Association, and holds a dual certification through AMANI Birth as both a childbirth educator and birth doula.
Today, she offers holistic services including pregnancy and labor support, childbirth education, personalized prenatal nutrition and body preparation, lactation education, vaginal steaming, and traditional postpartum care. Fajr meets families with compassion, competence, and a deep respect for cultural wisdom—helping every mother feel seen, heard, and supported through one of life’s most sacred transitions.
